Milk frothers are used to create smooth textured milk foam that looks like it was made by a professional barista.
In any form, milk is a warm and soft element and we wanted to transfer this feeling to the milk frother itself using rounded and smooth lines. At the same time, the goemetries are minimal and bold, giving the user a feeling of stability and durability.
The main silhouette comes from the intersection of two items: the milk jug and the heating base. Instead of creating continuity between the 2 elements, they have been visually distinct also thanks to the use of different materials.
The milk jug is made of brushed stainless steel like in the professional frothers. This offers better performance and maximum attention to hygiene and durability.
The color, material and finishes choice was driven with the aim create both professional and user-friendly feeling.
The upper lid has a distinctive silicone tag that works as a handle. The interface is designed to be simple and intuitive. Since during the milk preparation, the user hands might be wet, mechanic buttons were preferred to capacitive buttons to ensure definite and effective interaction.
